A donation to Special Olympics Kansas will help our athletes with
not only the opportunity to participate in sporting activities, but
with the opportunity to develop courage and experience joy as they
achieve new skills. One
goal of Special Olympics Kansas is to reach potential individuals in
communities that have not offered Special Olympics.
It is estimated that there are 80,000 individuals in Kansas
with intellectual disabilities who would benefit from participation in
the program.
Special Olympics Kansas is a registered 501 (c) (3), nonprofit
organization in the state of Kansas.
Special Olympics Kansas receives no federal, state or Kennedy
Foundation funds and is not a United Way agency.
All funds are obtained through public and private donations.
