Share Your Athlete's Story
Special Olympics Kansas is often asked by various media outlets to provide inspirational stories about our athletes. Now is your chance to share your athlete's story. What has your athlete taught you? What obstacles or roadblocks has your athlete overcome to be where they are today? You don't have to be a great writer to share their story, just write from your heart and we'll take care of the rest! The story doesn't have to be long and can even be a few sentences. We'll contact you for more information, if needed. Please email your athlete's story to kso@ksso.org.  Don't forget to include your athlete's name, age, team name, and your phone number.

Athlete Enrollment
Involving an athlete in Special Olympics Kansas takes only a few simple steps. First, complete an athlete enrollment kit. Second, arrange for a physical examination. Third, mail all completed forms to the Special Olympics Kansas Headquarters office. Once the forms have been received, an Area Director will contact you to place your athlete with a local team.
