General Orientation Session Completing
the Special Olympics General Orientation session is the required first
step to becoming a coach for Special Olympics Kansas. It
includes a look at the history and progression of SOKS, our
constituency, the sport and training aspects of SOKS, challenges of
the organization, and the direction we are headed with help from
volunteers statewide such as yourself.
Anyone is welcome to visit and complete the session; however, it is
a mandatory part of coaches education to attend a face-to-face general
orientation or complete the quiz for credit for this online version.

- Review the General
Orientation slide show. (Please note: you need power point on
your computer to run this program.)

Complete the General Orientation Session Exercise Online.
- Once the exercise has been completed and submitted via email,
you will be credited with completing the course and will receive a
certificate of completion for your coaching file through the USPS.
