Polar Plunge
Thank you to all our plungers, strutters and chickens you are awesome! Polar Plunge® will be back in the fall, watch this page for updated locations and times for Polar Plunge® 2013. It's never to early to think Polar Plunge®!

Proceeds from the event go to support our programs located throughout Kansas.
There are several ways to get involved!
PLUNGER: Taking the Polar Plunge® is a great way to show you are a fan of SOKS! For a minimum donation of $75, you can jump into frigid water and then thaw out wearing your official Polar Plunge® sweatshirt. Gather friends, family, classmates, teachers and co-workers and form a team!
STRUTTER: These events are up and running - literally! For a nominal donation you can compete in one of our Run/Walks and receive a long sleeve t-shirt. Struts vary in distance and are not scheduled at all locations; check your local Plunge webpage for more details!
If you prefer a warmer way to experience the Polar Plunge®:
- Register as a chicken - raise funds & earn incentives no plunge required!
- Become an event sponsor
- Be a vendor at the event
- Donate to your favorite plunger
- Volunteer at the event

ACTIVITIES

Video Your Plunge Training - Participants can create an original video showing their Plunge training or asking people to sponsor their Plunge. The video is posted to YouTube® and the link emailed to pr@ksso.org. SOKS will showcase approved videos on our Facebook page and the Polar Plunge® website.

Become a "Cool School" - Show your school spirit and support Special Olympics Kansas athletes. Form a team of at least 6 classmates and take the plunge together. Click here for detail.

Local Plunge Contests - Best Costume - Individual, Best Costume - Couple, Best Costume - Team, Highest Fundraising Individual, Highest Fundraising Team, and Team With The Most Plungers.
