World Games
The World Games are flagship events for the Special Olympics Movement. They take place every two years and alternate between Summer and Winter Games.
The 2013 Special Olympics World Winter Games will feature world-class competition in alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, figure skating, snowboarding and speedskating, among other sports in South Korea. The PyeongChang Games will also include global discussions and action on the impact Special Olympics can have on the lives of people with intellectual disabilities.
